Dallas All Sports Association celebrates 46 Years of
“Making Dreams a Reality”

The Dallas All Sports Association, or DASA as many call it, is a philanthropic organization that seeks to use the influence and appeal of sports to provide Dallas’s underserved youth with a chance for higher education.  Founded in 1965 by Dallas businessman and sports enthusiast, Field Scovell, DASA continues to stay true to Scovell’s vision in its 46th year by providing scholarship grants to deserving young recipients who have often already been accepted to college but lack the financial means to attend.

DASA Celebrity Golf Classic and Fundraiser


The DASA Celebrity Golf Tournament and Fundraiser will be held on Monday, September 19, 2011 with registration beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas. Each team will be paired with a celebrity player for 18 holes of great networking and friendly competition for a worthy cause. A dinner will follow awarding the golf winners and guests will enjoy music and entertainment. The Golf Classic is open to everyone at all levels of golf and will feature silent and live auctions of one-of-a kind items and sports and entertainment memorabilia.

The DASA Annual Awards and Scholarship Banquet

The 46th Annual Dallas All Sports Association Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday November 2nd at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Dallas at 7pm. The event honors students, student athletes, professional athletes, coaches, and sport personalities and provides recognition and scholarships to deserving individuals and groups in North Texas.
