Jesuit senior golfer Jordan Spieth and former Rockwall girls basketball star Peyton Adamson spent part of Thursday at the ESPN Dallas offices getting air time on 103.3 FM and a tour of the facilities for winning the Dallas All Sports Association Athlete of the Year awards.
Spieth is in his senior year at Dallas Jesuit and plans to play golf at the University of Texas next year. He made a name for himself after a successful run at the Byron Nelson in which he made the cut and finished at 3 under. ;
Adamson was one of the nation’s leaders in 3-pointers her senior year as a shooting guard at Rockwall. She’s now a freshman at the Univeristy of Missouri-Kansas City, averaging 10.5 points per game for the Kangaroos.
Both athletes received trophies to commemorate the award.
